Iraq is a country rebuilding itself from decades of devastating war, invasions and occupations. one of the most hopeful cities is Mosul. They are rebuilding the old city, churches and other sites to bring back community spirit, the diversity in ethnicity and coexisting religious groups back into the spirit of the city.

Iraq is extremely diverse - from rapidly evolving Baghdad, to traditional practices of land procurement in the Mesopotamian Marshes, the incredible excavated sites of previous empires in Hatra, Babylon, Samara, and the religiously conservative cities of Karbala and Najaf.

Iraq today is home to important lessons on faith, hospitality and tolerance.
